Office Manager - Brookfield (Direct Hire Career Opportunity)




Position open due to upcoming employee retirement!  Competitive Pay based on experience along with PTO plan!


Opportunity to work a hybrid schedule with flexibility to work a few days per week remotely once training is completed!

We are hiring for an experienced Office Manager for our client located in Brookfield that distributes products worldwide.    If you are a self- starter, enjoy handling a variety of duties in a small office and thrive working working independently (as you would be the sole employee in the Wisconsin office)  than this is the position for you!


 


This position will coordinate with customers (distributors), vendors, logistics companies, and government agencies for registration of products primarily via e-mail. 



- Provide costs from our vendors to management, enabling pricing capabilities
- Process customer orders, which includes obtaining ocean or trucking freight quotes
- Process customer invoices into QuickBooks as orders are shipped
- Arrange domestic and international logistics
- Maintain product, label and bag inventories for off site warehouses
- Apply customer payments to bank account, including depositing
- Create monthly reports for sales and inventory 
- Enter vendor bills into QuickBooks – (off-site accounting firm writes all checks)
- Ordering office supplies utilizing company credit card
- Keep licenses, registrations, etc. current on all products
- Request export certificates, free sale certificates or any other special documentation for international shipments
- Traditional clerical duties; i.e., filing, answering e-mails, mail, etc.
- Special projects as assigned by management


 


Required Qualifications :
 

Position requirements




Ability to work independently, self starter 


Experience with diverse responsibilities in an office management capacity including a/p, a/r, customer service.   Logistics experience is a plus 


Strong computer experience including Microsoft Office, Quickbooks 


Flexible to assist with a wide range of duties
