Machining Supervisor- 2nd Shift
In this role you will be scheduling and completing the daily workload requirements for the CNC and Receiving Departments. You will be responsible for Interviewing, hiring, and training new employees. Prepare and implement daily schedules for department employees. Ensure all employees receive semi-annual performance reviews.
Create methods to improve productivity and efficiency. Train all employees in proper techniques to achieve production standard.
Ensure all employees receive timely performance evaluations, coaching and counseling.
- Experience and/or training as a machinist; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Should have been involved in workload and manpower scheduling, quality control, employee productivity, and employee discipline.
- Ability to lead and supervise the efforts of the other employees. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
