The Electrical / Assembler Technician assembles fabricated parts to relatively large or heavy subassemblies and complete units. 

• Test and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. 


• Uses hand tools and small power tools to assemble units. 


• Wires electrical panels and machinery per electrical schematics. 


• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. 


• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. 


• Manual machine setup and operation of drill press, stud welder, and grinders required to process assemblies. 

• Ability to work overtime to meet production schedule as needed. 

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis and stand/walk 95% of the day.

•  High school education required, technical school preferred. 


• Requires a working knowledge of precision electrical assembly techniques as well as basic mechanical principals. 


• Must have the ability to use measuring devices, hand and power tools, arbor press and drill press. 


• Must have the ability to read assembly drawings, a working knowledge of metric system required and basic computer skills required.
