CNC VTL setup - 3rd shift (Direct Hire)

Direct Hire Career opportunities for experienced CNC Vertical Turret Lathe Set Up Machinists at pay rates of $30-32/hr with a successful global manufacturer with a brand new state of the art facility in Milwaukee!  Multiple openings on 3rd shift open due to growth!

Position Summary:

• Set up and Operate CNC Vertical Turret Lathe VTL (Giddings & Lewis with Siemens Controls)including changeovers in a job shop high variety environment (high mix / low volume ) with both long and short cycle machines for large parts.


• Operate gear shapers and other machines as needed


• Inspect parts of quality using gauges, utilize overhead or jib crane to move large parts.

Qualifications: Must have CNC Set Up experience on Vertical Turret Lathes ( VTL's )

including changeovers in a high mix job shop environment with large parts

Schedule:    3rd shift 10pm-6am Sun-Thurs + Overtime
